On Monday the 12th of February 2018, The Nigeria Football Federation released the names of coaching crews of various National Teams. The appointments are expected to take immediate effect.
The following national teams are excluded from this exercise as they have coaches in place with contracts running. These are: the Senior Men Team (Super Eagles), U20 Women (Falconets) and U17 Women (Flamingos).
Chairman of the Technical and Development Committee, Alhaji Yusuf Ahmed ‘Fresh’ was quoted at thenff.com as saying: “All the coaches will be unveiled at a later date, alongside the coaching crews of the U20 and U17 girls that were appointed earlier as a result of their World Cup qualifying campaigns.”
