Reports emanating from the United Kingdom indicate that Nigeria international Peter Etebo, who appears to be out of favour at Stoke City, is on the radar of Scottish Premier League side Hearts of Midlothian fc.
Midfielder Etebo, 24, who cost Stoke £6m from the Portuguese side Feirense after the World Cup last year, last played for Stoke City in October 2019 before injury struck.
He has recovered from injury but is yet to play in the main team. He was an unused substitute against Sheffield Wednesday on Boxing Day but was omitted altogether from the squad that defeated Huddersfield 5-2 away on New Year's day.
Edinburgh News online platform reported that Hearts fc is considering a move for the Super Eagles midfielder.
If it comes to fruition, Etebo will be expected to play regularly in Scotland as he works hard wherever he goes.
