Will Ejuke Chidera follow in the footsteps of Ahmed Musa?

Russian giants CSKA Moscow are reported to be on the verge of signing Nigeria winger Ejuke Chidera after 3 initial failed attempts. The amount being touted is in the region of €12 million for a player who rose to prominence in the Dutch league last season in Heerenveen having scored a remarkable 10 goals and provided 6 assists in 29 games. The stats are one thing but the way he went about achieving them were what actually caught the eye. His ability to almost effortlessly slice through defences to deliver crosses or finish off chances is precocious. His speed, pace, technique and elegance with the ball have already attracted the attention of national team handlers and excitement from Super Eagles fans. Now, if this move to CSKA Moscow does materialise, the 22 year old winger would follow in the footsteps of Super Eagles legend Ahmed Musa who found the back of the net 42 times in 125 appearances for the Russian giants between 2012-16. Musa is now considered a club legend in CSKA Moscow and Ejuke would be hoping to attain or even surpass the accomplishments of his fellow Nigerian and potential Super Eagles rival in Russia (assuming the this transfer speculation sees the light of day).
