Super Eagles prospect Tijani Muhammed has boosted his chances of Super Eagles invitation with his fabulous move to a prestigious club in England.

The former Nigeria U20 International moved from Czech club Slavia Praha to English Championship side Plymouth Argyle with an option for a permanent contract.

Argyle coach England legend Wayne Rooney further stated the qualities that Muhammad will bring to the Super Eagles if invited and the English Championship.

"He is big, athletic and can run in behind, but is equally as good at holding the ball up and bringing other players into play."

“He has played and scored in the Europa League so comes with good pedigree but is also young and keen to improve. We are really looking forward to working with him.”

Nigeria fans now have one more reason to follow the English Championship next season. Super Eagles players like Iheanacho, Ndidi, Aribo, Jamilu and Akpom have set the English Championship alight in recent seasons with rambunctious and jaw dropping displays that left a lasting impression .

Muhammad will now be hoping to follow suit with eloquent performances that will open the door to the Super Eagles in coming assignments to compete with Osimhen and Co.
