After wasting no time finding the back of the net in a pre-season friendly since his summer move to England's Plymouth Argyle, giant young centre forward Tijani Muhammed has his sights set at setting the English Championship alight.
His manager England legend Wayne Rooney is determined to sharpen Tijani's centre forward instincts.
"We know he's not the finished article and that's on us to work with him and try to improve that as well. What he is, he's a big lad, he works hard, he's game, he puts himself into some really good positions to score goals," said Rooney.
"I was really pleased with him getting the two goals (against Cheltenham in the preseason friendly) and he will be a real handful for defenders during the season." He concluded.
Tijani started the game against Cheltenham as he led Argyle's attack in a 4-2-3-1 formation,
Quality performances for him in England will open the door to possible Super Eagles invitation in coming months.
