Tantalising Tarnum Dooshima Towers Above The Rest In NWFL
Nasarawa Amazons Attacking Midfielder Tarnum Dooshima on Wednesday received her Naija Women Football League Award for being the best player in the NWFL Premiership for the month of January. Dooshima took part in three games in January, scoring three goals (One against Naija Ratels, two against her former side, Adamawa Queens) and created another one for a Aweda Titilayo in the same game. The former Falconets Star won the accolades alongside Edo Queens Manager, Wemimo Mathew. The Attacking Midfielder, Tarnum Dooshima pipped Edo Queens’ Yemisi Samuel (who has scored three goals and one assist, so far this season), Maryann Ezeanagu and Aweda Titilayo to clinch the prestigious awards. Tarnum received the award before the NWFL Premiership Matchday 11 encounter between Osun Babes and Nasarawa Amazons at the Lanreleke Academy Stadium, Ile-Ogbo, Osun State.
