Super Falcons World Class Goalkeepers Arrive In Camp For Ivory Coast Encounter

Updated: Feb 15, 2022

It goes without saying that Nigeria boasts of arguably 2 of the best goalkeepers in Africa at the moment in Israel based Tochukwu Oluehi and France based Chiamaka Nnadozie.

They have exquisite catching, parrying, diving, punching, distribution and attention-to-position skills that rival those of other world class goalkeepers in the global women's game.

Ahead of the do-or-die afwcon qualifiers against the Women Elephants of Ivory Coast, Nnadozie and Oluehi are among the most recent arrivals to the bubbling Super Falcons camp.

Both eloquent and supremely talented goalkeepers, Nigeria fans will be counting on their skills, experience and expertise in keeping out all the missiles thrown at them by Ivory Coast .

Also joining our team's fold are US based Ifeoma Onumonu of Gotham and Michelle Alozie of Houston Dash. From Sweden we have Ngozi Okobi.

From Spain, Atletico Madrid star Rasheedat Ajibade, Madrid CFF's Rita Chikwelu and Sevilla forward Toni Payne also expanded the camp to 28 at lunchtime today

The first leg will be played this Friday 18 February with the return leg 5 days later.

Nigeria will be hoping to avoid another aggregate defeat in the hands of the Ivory Coast ladies after failure to secure Olympics participation from the hands of the same opponents.
