Super Falcons third choice goalkeeper Yewande Balogun, 32 years old, joined French side AS Saint Etienne this week.
The former UC Davis assistant coach becomes the third Nigerian on the books of the second tier club for the upcoming season after Esther Okoronkwo and Joy Bokiri.
Balogun has been a member of the Super Falcons since Randy Waldrum took over the helm of the Super Falcons but has not really gotten game time.
She is expected to feature in the Super Falcons squad for upcoming friendlies against the USA and Japan.
