Eguavoen has unveiled his squad for the Afcon 2022 sequel against Sudan in what is expected to be a sunny day at the Roumdé Adjia Stadium in Cameroon.
In what is largely a retention from the team that put the Egyptians to the sword in their first match, the starting line up sees no change.
Super Eagles fans yearned for a beautiful brand of football in the team's first installment of this Afcon franchise in which Eguavoen's foot soldiers failed to disappoint.
The Super Eagles were simply mind-blowing in the manner in which they brushed Egypt aside with delicate passes, purposeful pressings and deft defending. The only disappointment was their profligacy in front of goal.
Will we see a continuation of the same approach with their shortcomings adequately addressed?
We haven't got long to wait.
