Osimhen Sharpening His Scoring Boots Ahead of Cameroon Showdown

Super Eagles ruthless sniper Victor Osimhen finally returned to training with the rest of the Super Eagles squad after he

stayed out the previous day as the team stepped up preparations for Saturday’s AFCON showdown against Cameroon.

He missed earlier training sessions due to a stomach bug.

With so much talk about lack of enough goals from the Super Eagles thus far, Osimhen will be hoping to sharpen his killer instincts in front of goal in the epic showdown.

Fans are expecting fit-again Kelechi Iheanacho to hopefully make an appearance in the game.

His teammate Bright Osayi-Samuel was also part of the workout as all 25 players trained behind closed doors, officials informed Afrofooty.

Antwerp midfielder Alhassan Yusuf was involved in full team training for the second straight day as he fights to feature in only his second game in the competition.

The Super Eagles will have to go past the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon at the weekend to reach the quarterfinal of the 2023 AFCON, where either Angola or Namibia will be the next hurdle in their quest to win a fourth continental crown.
