No Ilenikhena, No Iheanacho, No Fernandez, is Nigeria Squad for Tanzania strong enough?

The Nigeria Football Federation has unveiled the squad list for the upcoming AFCON qualifiers against Tanzania!

How good is the squad?

I guess Iheanacho didn’t do quite enough to impress in the last match. Perhaps the days of Maduka Okoye (whose dedication to the teams shrouds in doubt)!as a Nigeria international are numbered – I am always happy to see Uzoho involved.

The midfield looks excitingly heavy for once. Where is Frank Onyeka?

On the flanks, I am worried that we don’t have enough speed – Moses Simon is gradually becoming long-in-the-tooth whilst out-of-form Ademola Lookman has never convinced as an out-and-out winger.

Defence looks solid but some fan question the Fernandes.

All ok all it is a decent squad.
