Nigeria's Flamingos (U-17 Women) Intensify Preparations For World Cup Qualifiers

Nigeria U17 women’s team railroaded WACO Ladies 13-0 in a friendly at the FIFA Goal Project pitch in Abuja as they step up preparations for their crucial world cup qualifiers in March.

Coach Olowookere Bankole’s teenage ladies will be away to lock horns with their Congolese counterparts on the 6th of March for their first leg, first round World Cup qualifier. Hence they used this match against WACO ladies to finetune thier strategy.

All signs are good for a positive aggregate result in this round of qualifiers with the teenage female footballers looking like a well oiled machine. They appeared well drilled and finely composed in their play.

The likes of Opeyemi Ajakaye, Doosuur Atume, Precious Daniel and Raheemot Adebayo each netted a beautifully bountiful brace.

Then smooth operators Dah-Zossu Alvine, Ojiyovwi Kesiena, Kafayat Bashiru, Aminat Folorunsho and Mary Aderemi all wrote their names in the scoresheet with ruthless goals.

The team will continue their build up for the African U-17 Women's World Cup Qualifiers on Sunday against Beautiful Tour Girls.
