Sports Minister John Enoh handed an ultimatum to the NFF to restructure the technical crew of the Super Eagles.
This is expected to mean relieving Head Coach Finidi George of his duties. The appointment of a foreign technical adviser is expected to follow.
This development followed a four-hour meeting in Abuja between the minister, the NFF delegation led by president Ibrahim Gusau as well as Super Eagles coach Finidi George.
This was occasioned by the unacceptable 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign by the Super Eagles where they failed to win any of the two matches - drawing one and losing the other.
Super Eagles fans now eagerly wait for the powers that be to restore sanity into the Super Eagles set up with the reconstitution of a more tactical savvy coaching crew.
