Muhamed Tijani targets goals for new club

Having made a move to Karvina in the modest Czech Premier League, Nigeria Junior International Tijani Muhamed is now hoping to do what he failed to do in the Czech division 2 for the first part of this season : score goals.

The centre forward (on loan from Banik Ostrava at the time) played 10 games for Futbol Trinec fc between August and November last year in the Czech division 2 league without registering his name either on the scoresheet or as a provider of assists.

When his loan move finished, he went back to his parent club who have now transferred him to Karvina where Tijani will be hoping to add goals and assists to his name.

He was missing from the match day squads of Karvina for their last 2 league games where they won.

Tijani is not highly rated by a section of Super Eagles fans who believe he is not a very good centre forward owing to his poor returns in front of goal for the Under 21 in last year's World Cup where he scored only one goal in four matches.

Should Tijani discover his shooting boots in Karvina, he will go a long way in providing doubters wrong.
