It is now being widely leaked in local media that Jose Peseiro will pay for four additional assistants apart from the ones appointed by the Federation.
A source revealed to Afrofooty that the coach-to-be will pay for the services of two full assistants, fitness trainer and match reader.
Apparently, these were among the major stumbling blocks that led to the initial collapse of his negotiations with the NFF.
The football authorities appear to have acquiesced. Also, Peseiro's wage demands appear to be in alignment with the NFF's budgets.
Nigeria, having failed woefully in Afcon and world cup qualifiers assignments recently, are embarking on a path towards Super Eagles restoration and recovery.
The 62 year old highly experienced coach has manged teams like Braga, Al Ahly and Porto including the Venezuelan national team. He has won league titles and have reached the final of some competitions.
Peseiro will be expected to qualify the team for the 2023 Afcon and at least reach the semi-finals.
