Funsho Bamgboye maintains consistency in Hungary

Nigeria winger Funsho Bamgboye continues to make steady progress in his career by featuring regularly for his club MOL Fehervar in the Hungary Premier League.

Since the resumption of football, the 21 year old winger has featured in 5 out of 6 games giving one assist and providing lively displays in others.

Playing 69 minutes in their last league game against Mezokovesd, Funsho could not help prevent his team slump to a 2 :1 defeat. Still, he gave a good account of himself as they remain second on the league table with a realistic possibility of qualifying for the Champions League next season.

A strong performance in the Hungary Premier League will put Funsho Bamgboye in the shop window for some of the more glamorous clubs in higher profile leagues across Europe.

And, with the way he is playing, he is on the right path. Bamgboye, a former Nigeria youth International, won the Under 17 World Cup in 2015 along with Victor Osimhen and Samuel Chukwueze who have both make the breakthrough to the Super Eagles.
