Heavy hitters Kparobo Arierhi and Emmanuel Chukwu have made the Flying Eagles final 23-man squad for the 2025 U20 AFCON in Egypt.
Kparobo, who razzled and dazzled in the Wafu Zone B U-20 tournament last year, is in the books of Norwegian club Lillestrom, while former Golden Eaglets central defender Emmanuel Chukwu recently put pen to paper for Bundesliga club Hoffenheim.
It is also rumoured that skipper Daniel Bamaiyi will lead several players from last year’s WAFU triumph to the U20 AFCON.

These players will include Enyimba winger Clinton Jeptha, Oliseh Divine from Foster Academy, Bidemi Amole as well as Sporting Lagos goalkeeper Ebenezer Harcourt.
The Flying Eagles will take on Tunisia in their opening Group B match on May 1.
They are also drawn against Morocco and Kenya in the first round of the tournament, which also serves as a qualifying series for the 2025 FIFA U20 World Cup in Chile.
