Flamingos in Congo: Nigerian Ladies Primed For Thriller in Kinshasa

Leading to today's eagerly anticipated away leg second round under 17 world cup qualifier against Congo, the NFF were pleased to announce that the Flamingos players and officials, who landed safely in Kinshasa on Friday, had a feel of the stadium with the entire team said to be in a buoyant mood.

"Moments ago, our darling Flamingos had a feel of Stade des Martyrs, Kinshasa where they will face DR Congo in the first leg of the second qualifying round for the FIFA U17 Women's World Cup, India 2022." Was the statement released by the NFF.

The young ladies are said to be physically, mentally and psychologically prepared to knock out their hosts in their own backyard. Hostilities are said to commence from around 15:30 hours.

An aggregate victory for Nigeria will see them attempt to mummify the young ladies of Egypt in the next round.
