Dele Alampasu signs for Ventspils

Through their website, Latvian Premier League side Ventspil fc have merrily announced the signing of Nigeria goalkeeper Dele Alampasu. Afrofooty reported recently that the 2013 under 17 world cup winning goalkeeper was having trials in the club. The cat is now out of the bag. On their website, the club that currently occupy 3rd position in the league wrote: 'We officially announce the arrival of Nigerian goalkeeper Dele Alampasu at FC Ventspils . Welcome to FKV! Dele Alampasu - A talented 23-year-old goalkeeper. It has to be said, already with a loud title - at the youth level the goalkeeper has won the U-17 World Championship." For his part, Alampasu was quoted as saying:"When I came up with an offer from Ventspils, I thought it was imperative to take such a great opportunity. This is a great opportunity to take it to a new level and get acquainted with the Eurocup, which has always been my goal. Of course, the most important goal is to win the Latvian Championship.
