Super Eagles goalkeeper Dele Alampasu is back in active football as he featured for his club Ventspil FC in the Latvian Premier League on 29 June 2020.
Playing away to Spartsk, Alampasu kept a clean sheet in the first half. However, he conceded a goal in 47th minute but his club still ran away 3:1 winners.
The former youth International would be hoping to play enough matches and put up the sort of performances that would attract the attention of the coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr.
Alampasu was part of the 2014 homebased Super Eagles squad to the 2014 CHAN and has managed 1 cap under Gernot Rohr.
The 23 year old signed for Ventspils on February 2020 having been inactive after he was released by Feirense at the end of last season.
