Coach Busari Declares Crusade Against Complacency in Flamingos' Knockout Fixtures

Coach Busari is sounding out against complacency. My point exactly. Complacency will be the self-destruct button for this team.
But, not just that. Flexibility, adaptability, ability to make adjustments and alterations in light of changing and ominous circumstances will serve this team well.
Coach Busari is already showing the right tendencies. For example, playing a back 5 mid-game against North Korea and removing the supremely ineffectual, under-firing, foot in the wrong boot Chidi Harmony from the starting 11 in place of the more measured, slash and burn, all killer no filler, cool, composed, organised Oluebube Umejiaku whose finish against North Korea was a price beyond gold, frankincense and myrrh.

I might have been a bit harsh on Chidi with my description however, I remain a staunch, unshakeable fan of hers, believing that she will rediscover her mojo soon.
We love Chidi Harmony affectionately.
Back to Coach Busari who said: "We want to show more character, mentality and intensity in our play. We have to make sure we don’t become complacent."
And, truth be told, backed up by stats, this team has evolved, adapted, matured with each match in the group stages.
It's just for them to continue in the same vein in the knockout stages.

Good Luck Busari
Good Luck Flamingos
Good Luck Chidi!
