Can Randy Waldrum’s Super Falcons Dismantle Haiti and New Zealand Next Month?


Nigeria’s senior women’s national team will face two 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup campaigners during the upcoming camp in Turkey in April.


The nine-time African champions will tackle Women’s World Cup debutants Haiti and competition’s co-host New Zealand in a three international friendlies at the Mardan Sports Complex, Antalya next month.


Randy Waldrum is on last chance saloon to convince Super Falcons fans that he is tactically grounded enough to anchor the team to a respectable outing at the World Cup in the summer.


The team has struggled to win matches of late and their brand of football under Waldrum has been less than convincing.


Australia, Canada, and the Republic of Ireland lie in wait for the Super Falcons in the group stage of the world cup .


How Nigeria perform against Haiti and New Zealand in April's friendlies will further provide indications as to how ready they are to tackle the challenges ahead.
