Can Isaac Success reignite his Super Eagles career?

Watford manager Nigel Pearson says Isaac Success is not available for selection in the coming days due to cruciate knee injury.
Because of the atmosphere that currently pervades football in which clubs are allowed to make more substitutions than normal, this has created opportunities for fringe players to feature in matches. Taiwo Awoniyi and Kelechi Nwakali have both benefitted from this. After the resumption of football, I was hoping that Isaac Success would benefit too but his injury demons have struck again. A one time Super Eagle, his chances of earning a call up to the national team are now as remote as Nigeria being declared a visa free nation by the United States of America.

Injuries, weight gain, dramatic loss of form and indiscipline are all factors that have driven a wedge between Isaac Success and his career growth. I come to this from the angle of a fan. I was quite happy when sacked coach Javi Gracia afforded Success healthy playing time in Watford last season. But in the matches I saw, he always looked slightly off pace. His spirit was willing, but his legs were often not up to it. With Javi gone, Success’ chances became even more limited. I do hope he turns his career around. From his matches that I saw, the potentials are still there. He just needs to work harder to fully rehabilitate himself. Hopefully he can put nagging niggling injuries behind him and then move to another club to start all over again.
And then hopefully he can reignite his fading Super Eagles career.
