Benin Republic must be applauded and respected for the attention they are paying to the development of their women’s football in recent times. Only a few months back, their senior women’s team held our Super Falcons to a 1:1 draw in our backyard in a crucial qualifier.

For this U-17 World Cup qualifier, their coaching staff are already talking tough, preparing tough, toughly claiming that the Flamingos will find it tough going in these 2 matches.
