Can Chidera Ejuke bench Chukwueze?

Chidera Ejuke has proven to be one of Nigeria's best wingers in Europe this season. According to some sources, the 22 year old has completed a whooping 98 dribbles in the Eredivisie - the most in the league, and 5th most in the whole of Europe's top 10 leagues.

He has played 24 games this season with 9 goals to his name with a rating of 7.09/10 for all the matches featured thus far. Ejuke also has 4 assists to his name.

Only this weekend, he had one goal and an assist in the league.

Ejuke’s ability to cut inside to his stronger foot and take shots show a player who isn’t afraid to test the keeper.

He is pacy, direct and inventive in tight areas.

Currently valued €2.8 million, many are tipping the Heerenveen winger to be invited to the Super Eagles in the not-too-distant future.

Should that happen, he will provide stiff competition to Samuel Chukwueze as they both play right wing.

Chukwueze, for his part, has struggled for game time this season in Spain and has not been that prolific in front of goal as expected.

Should Ejuke be invited, it would be interesting to see how he fares in national colours.
