Cypriot division 2 club, Enosis Neon Paralimni have announced the signing of Super Eagles goalkeeper, Adebayo Adeleye.
The formed U-17 international struggled to impress recent Super Eagles managers with Eguavoen ignoring him altogether in 2022 whilst Peseiro only employed his services in Afcon qualifiers only to overlook him altogether in Afcon proper even as erstwhile number one Uzoho struggled in between the sticks.
Adeleye has now joined Enosis Neon Paralimni on a free transfer after severing ties with Israeli club, Hapoel Jerusalem.
The goalkeeper, who spent six years at Hapoel Jerusalem, will now hope to win the affection of a future Super Eagles manager with compelling displays in Cyprus.
He still has Nwabili, Okoye and Uzoho to contend with, even as the likes of Arthur Okonkwo and Chijioke Aniagboso retain realistic hopes for Super Eagles Invitation.
So, although his Super Eagles chances remain slim, plausible performances for his new club will difficult to ignore.
