Ex-Super Eagles star Justice Christopher has reportedly passed away. According to veteran Nigerian journalist Andrew Randa, Christopher died in the early hours of Wednesday morning at a hotel in Jos.

The most significant news carried about the 2002 Japan Korea Super Eagles world cup star of late was when he was robbed and assaulted in 2020.
Other than that, the former midfielder had largely kept a low profile compared with some Ex-Super Eagles International.
Born on the 24th of December 1981, Christopher played for Nigeria national football team between 2001 and 2002 and was a participant at the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
He amassed 11 caps for his country.
The former world cup star played for several clubs in his playing days including Katsina United, Sharks F.C., Bendel Insurance FC, Antwerp FC (Belgium), Levski Sofia (Bulgaria), Trelleborgs FF (Sweden), Alania Vladikavkaz in Russia and Herfølge BK in Denmark.
Christopher, who finally retired from active football in 2012, never ventured into coaching or meaningful punditry careers post-football.
He was 40 at the time of his death.
May his soul rest in peace 🙏
