Bosso's Flying Eagles To Resume Preparations For U-20 Afcon

Good luck to the Flying Eagles as they resume training ahead of the U-20 Afcon in a few weeks’ time.

Ladan Bosso unveiled his initial 35 man squad for training which will be further trimmed down before the tournament.

The task is daunting but success is conceivable.

Egypt, Senegal and Mozambique should provide stern challenges for the Flying Eagles but these are wholly surmountable.

I had hoped to see the unstoppable Wisdom Ubani in this list following rumours of his possible inclusion from a notorious media outlet. But it did not materialise, at least not yet.

Ubani is such a flair striker who sniffs opportunities in opposition 18 yard box to pounce like a lurking predator. I pray he either plays a part with this Flying Eagles at some point or with the Under-23 when they resume pre-Olympics Afcon qualifiers.
