Bosso Brings Two Pairs of Fresh Legs Against Brazil

Coach Ladan Bosso has tweaked his starting lineup for tonight’s tasty last group stage clash against Brazil with Augustine Njoku and Emmanuel Umeh giving their chances to shine for the first time.

Njoku comes in at right back for Benjamin Frederick to be rested.

Ibrahim Mohammed ‘Beji’, who has been underwhelming in attack, gives way to Emmanuel Umeh.

Both Umeh and Salim Fago Lawal, strikers by trade, will interchange at the head of the attack and flanks.

No other department has faced a purge as Bosso keeps faith with the remaining 80% of players who curbed Italy on Wednesday.

That means AC Milan starlet Victor Eletu starts again after overcoming cramps that forced him out in the second half of the Italy game and attacking midfielder Samson Lawal is again preferred to Bulgaria-based Tochukwu Nnadi.

Flying Eagles Starting XI (4-3-3) vs Brazil

Aniagboso – Agbalaka, Njoku, Bameyi (Captain), Ogwuche – Daga, Eletu, Samson Lawal – Jude Sunday, Umeh, Fago
