Newly promoted Nottingham Forest have reportedly agreed a 17.5 Million Pounds fee with Union Berlin for the acquisition of Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi, according to TalkSport.com.
Bundesliga club Union Berlin bought the striker from Liverpool last year for seven Million Euros and now value him at around 20 Million Euros.
Last season, the 2013 under 17 World Cup winning centre forward bagged 18 goals and provided two assists for the capital city club to qualify to play in the UEFA Conference League again next season.
Awoniyi never fought shy of his ambitions to play in the Premier League after work permit bottlenecks led to multiple loan moves away from Merseyside when he was in the books of Liverpool.
He is now set to be Forest first signing this summer as they get set for a return to the English top flight after many years in the lower leagues.
Other Super Eagles stars like Iheanacho, Ndidi and Lookman lie in wait for Awoniyi to do battle against in the English Premer League.
