Will We Ever See Gift Orban Kit out For the Super Eagles?

In a lazily conversation on a lazy evening with a friend I was lazing about with, we touched on the topic of Super Eagles' super loaded strike force to which she referred to Gift Orban as an option, as a Nigeria International.

I was like: 'Gift Who?'

Nigeria international! For me, nationality uncertainty has certainly curtailed, curved and contained Orban's one-time promising intentional career.

Orban is needed by Nigeria, full stop.

All hands are needed on deck, all boots are needed on the pitch, all quality bums needed on the bench of the Super Eagles to continue out upward trajectory under Coach Chelle.

Whether on the pitch or from the bench, Orban has the potential to add quality to the architectural design of the Super Eagles. He is proving it in club football where he has remained consistent in recent seasons.

But, the erudite NFF lawyers who are embarking on a wild World Cup qualification goose chase seem unable to help settle the legal national status of Orban.

The NFF's legal team should sort out his nationality status, and do it expeditiously because Orban’s international career is stalling, suffering and stunting.

And the Super Eagles family are arguably being denied a goal scoring game changer in their fold as Orban's international future continues to hang in the balance.
