Super Eagles To Face World Cup Qualifiers Jordan in Friendly Festivities

Ahead of this year’s Mundial, depending on the outcome of NFF's Congo complaint to FIFA, the Super Eagles will lock horns with Jordan - shock World Cup qualifiers - in 2 pre-World Cup friendlies, officials said.

The matches are fixed for Amman between March 23 and 31.

Jordan will be making their debut at this year’s World Cup and they are drawn in a first round group that includes African opposition in Algeria.

It would be recalled the Super Eagles shot down Algeria 2-0 to qualify to the semifinal of the 2025 AFCON in Morocco.

There is also another proposal for the Super Eagles to take on star-studded Portugal in another friendly in June leading up to the World Cup to be staged by USA, Canada and Mexico.
