Super Eagles list: Kingsley Ehizibue invited

Reports monitored by Afrofooty indicate that former Holland youth International right back Kingsley Ehizibue has been handed a maiden invitation to the Super Eagles squad ahead of March qualifiers against Sierra Leone. Others called up include regulars like Daniel Akpeyi, Chidozie Awaziem, Wilfred Ndidi, Alex Iwobi and Victor Osimhen. There are recalls for in-form Iheanacho and Wigan's Balogun whilst as widely anticipated, Cyriel Dessers is included. The likes of Sadiq Umar, Josh Maja and Mikel Agu miss out. Nigeria will face Sierra Leone on 27 March at home with the reverse fixture to be played on the 31st of the same month.

Meanwhile, the Super Eagles are currently topping Group L in the 2021 AFCON qualifiers with six points after two games.
