Versatile Super Falcons fullback Rofiat Imuran, who was inexplicably excluded from Nigeria's record setting 2025 Mission X Wafcon squad, is bursting at the seams with passion, drive, and hunger to take the English top flight by storm.
Moving to London City Lionesses in England from Reims in France last season, the Ibadan-born deft defender helped the London team gain promotion to the elite division with dazzling displays that were sadly not enough for her to make this year's tournament winning Super Falcons squad for the Wafcon.
With the 2025 England's WSL (Womens Super League) kicking off on 5th September, Imuran is rearing to go.

“I wanted to come to London City because the coach presented an interesting project and I wanted a different challenge,” said Imuran in an earlier interview.
Definitely, playing top flight English football will definitely provide a fresh challenge that will help to be a major boost to her credentials as she expects to apply herself with the highest level of professionalism.
What, with the England national team the best team in world football presently, overtaking Spain and the United States, and the English female league boasting some of the finest and most technically gifted players drawn from countries all over the world, Imuran is destined to be a more refined, highly polished and greatly technically enhanced player by rubbing shoulders with these elites.

"Everyone has been so welcoming since I arrived (in this club last season) and I look forward to being able to help the team on the pitch,” Imuran told the club’s official website.
And help them she will, with impeccable work ethic, focus and determination that has brought her this far.
Imuran, a successful graduate of Nigeria's under-age female national team infrastructure, is definitely destined for the stars.
