In MD12, I take a look at 5 eye-popping goal scorers and 1 assist provider whom I hold solely responsible for this week's deluge.

Goal Scorers & Assists

1.Grace Saliu (Rivers Angels): The smooth operator smashed the scoreboard with 2 sublime goals (4th and 15th minute) in what was an all-round resplendent display.

2.Kesiena Ojiyovwi (Bayelsa Queens): Cool, calculated and cunning summed up her performance on the night, buttered with 2 cracking goals late in the second half.

3.Atume Doosuur (Edo Queens): Not to be ignored, Atume managed 1 goal on the night , bringing her haul this season to 9 in total - not bad for a future international.

4. Kemi Adegbuyi (FC Robo): Scored her 6th goal of the season to keep nipping at the heels of those strikers ahead of her in the goals scorers’ chart.

5.Anatasia Terfa (Delta Queens): Netted the crucial 71st-minute winner to send her teammates to ecstasy and the opposition fans to the hospital with suspected broken heart.

6.Abasiofon Uwah (Rivers Angels): The Premier League hotshot, who failed to register her name on the scoreboard, provided a pinpoint assist for Saliu’s second goal. This girl is the real deal: scoring, assisting, thriving.
