Super Eagles hopeful Kelechi Nwakali is set to return to training in Huesca this weekend after a negative coronavirus test result according to a media report.
Apparently, the reason why the 22 year old playmaker has been missing in action in recent weeks was because he was self-isolating having been in close proximity to a team-mate who had tested positive for coronavirus.
Nwakali has now reportedly been cleared to resume work following his negative test result.
His isolation left him missing Huesca's last three fixtures where they failed to record a single win.
There has been scant information about Nwakali's absence in these three matches leaving many fans to speculate why he had been excluded from match day squads.
A lot of Super Eagles supporters are waiting eagerly for Nwakali to play regularly in the prestigious Spanish La Liga and hopefully make the sort of impact that will lead to his invitation to the Super Eagles.
His 32 minutes La Liga curtain-raiser against Villarreal on September 13 attracted impressive ratings of 6.4/10. His passes were accurate as he had 100% success rate in this area. He was combative in the middle whilst putting himself about for the period he spent on the pitch on the day.
Huesca next take on Elche on matchday 5 of the Spanish LaLiga on October 3. Nwakali is not expected to take part in this encounter.
