Transfer away from Napoli or stay in Napoli, from my perspective it doesn’t change the price of fish because Osihmen remains a quality player with skills bordering on world class when his head is in the right place.
And I pray his head is in the right place for next February’s world cup qualifiers.
I have no qualms if he misses the Afcon qualifiers from September as we have enough quality up front - in my humble opinion - to vanquish Benin, Libya and Rwanda even without Osihmen as we have room to make mistakes and retrieve points.
But I need Osihmen at his best for next year’s world cup qualifiers. His swashbuckling, devil-may-care, ruthless, all-action centre forward play should strike fear in the hearts of our world cup qualification opponents.
That said, stability is a good thing. So if he is going to stay in Napoli or move, the sooner it is decided the better for him so he can be focused.
