Chukwueze Gets New Improved Villarreal Contract

Nigerian Winger Samuel Chukwueze has agreed on a new and improved contract at Villarreal that sees his release clause rise to €100m for the next 2 years.

The new deal will also see the former FIFA U-17 World Cup winner release clause lowered to €80m on the 3rd year.

Chukwueze valuation has risen after his tremendous improvement since joining the first team in the middle of last season.

The 20-year-old was omitted in the final list Golden boy award nominatees, but has been included in this year’s Kopa Trophy award along nine others, as he continues his rise to the top of world football.

Chukwueze who was voted best young player for Club and Country since last year, has now seen his contract improved thrice in just over a year from €25m to €65m and €100m.

Chuckwueze won the Bronze medal with the Super Eagles at the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.

It’s been a tremendous 12 months for Chukwueze, getting called up for the super eagles, making his LA Liga debut, signing improved contract and staying in form.

Chukwueze would need to be humble, staycalm and ensure that the negative side of the game do not get to him, congratulations from all of us at Afrofooty.
