Can Victor Moses follow in the footsteps of Emmanuel Emenike in Russia?

Super Eagles retired wing-back Victor Moses, who is surplus to requirements at Chelsea, is reportedly set to complete a permanent transfer to the club of former Nigeria International Emmanuel Emenike.

Russian club Spartak Moscow, according to various media reports, are expected to sign Victor Moses from Chelsea once the medical examination he will shortly undergo provides an all-clear status.

Victor Moses will leave Chelsea with still a year left on his contract after manager Frank Lampard said he is not in his plans.

Super Eagles legend Emmanuel Emenike was simply superb for Spartak Moscow having scored 21 goals in 42 games for them between 2011 and 2013.

Victor Moses - who played with Emenike at the 2013 Afcon and 2014 world cup - will be hoping to leave his own indelible positive mark on the club if the transfer goes through.
