Ahead of Super Falcons' eagerly anticipated titanic double header qualifiers against the Women Elephants of Ivory Coast, two of Nigeria's most high profile players have stormed into camp.
Captain Asisat Oshoala from Barcelona and England-based defender Ashleigh Plumptre, who scored a ravishing headed goal in the league last weekend, arrived and already started training this morning.
Meanwhile, they have trimmed the squad, letting off five players thereby leaving 25 in camp.
The Super Falcons squad is loaded with quality players across the park. From great goalkeepers like Nnadozie to deft defenders like Plumptre and then marvellous midfielders like Payne just behind superlative strikers like Oshoala, Nigeria is truly blessed.
And this team is hungry for success with coach Randy Waldrum hoping to achieve greater things with Nigeria.
