Big Boss Bosso Serves His Critics With Pipping Hot Humble Pie

Finally! After several futile and laughable attempts at long range shots, Bosso’s boys eventually get it right, twice for that matter! The first was a screamer from about 25 yards while the second was a beautifully bent effort with the goalkeeper stranded for Nigeria’s second and third goals.

These two exquisite wonder strikes contributed to Nigeria's goals in their 3:1 bashing of Benin Republic which handed them the Wafu B Cup last night.

Congratulations to the Flying Eagles team and their coaching crew led by the much maligned Ladan Bosso.

This Wafu B tournament might not be an elite competition but winning it is still commendable considering that the coach was written off by many prior to its commencement.

The Flying Eagles prioritized substance over style today and it paid off.

Well done team, Nigeria is proud of you.
