Crawley Town Football Club have announced they have retained the services of Super Eagles defender Benjamin Tanimu beyond the 2024/25 season.
Tanimu, who joined the club from Singida Black Stars of Tanzania in August 2024, has a contract with the club until June 2026.
He is seen by the club as "a key player" who has a "bright future" with them.
The Super Eagles centre defender has made a total of 10 appearances for Crawley Town, including 1 FA Cup, 2 EFL, and 7 League One matches.
A horde of Super Eagles fans, who were scathing in their criticisms of Tanimu's invitation to the national team when he was based in Tanzania, are not sold on the abilities.

I think strong performances for Crawley Town next season should open the door of future Super Eagles invitations to Tanimu.
This time, he should be able to prove his doubters wrong with compelling performances for club and country.
