Oshoala returns in triumph

Super Falcons sharpshooter Asisat Oshoala returned from injury in time to be involved in Barcelona Ladies' 1-0 away win against Bayern Munich in the first leg of their UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-final clash during the weekend.

Kheira Hamraoui scored the winning goal for Barcelona Ladies in the 62nd minute of the encounter; the return leg will be at the Miniestadi next week Sunday.

There is the league assignment against Toni Payne's Sevilla on Wednesday before the Champions league return leg.

Oshoala started the game from the bench and took the place of England international Toni Duggan in the 65th minute.

The Nigeria international , who had missed Barcelona last six games in all competitions due to a hamstring injury, has 5 league goals to her name thus far.

The 24-year-old is loan at Barcelona from Chinese club Dalian Quanjian.

Oshoala's return from injury is welcome news to Super Falcon coaches and fans worldwide.
