Rita Chikwelu, who has thus far scored 4 goals for Nigeria under coach Dennerby, found the back of the net this weekend but could not prevent her team from an old fashioned 5:1 drubbing in the Swedish women professional football league.
The game was dead and buried by the time Rita scored her goal in 90 minutes for Kristianstads as they were trailing by 4 goals to nil at that point at the hands of Rosengard ladies who still had time to add 1 more goal in 92 minutes to round up a 5:1 emphatic score line.
Thirty one year old Rita is expected to be in the Super Falcons squad for the World Cup in France.
