Super Falcons Midfielders Halimat Ayinde and Ngoze Okobi both featured for Eskilstuna United in their 1:1 away draw to Goteborg fc in Sweden this weekend.
Spotting Jersey 18, Ayinde started the match from start to finish as a right wingback while her compatriot Ngozi (wearing jersey 25) was introduced in 46 minutes for Tunturi in left wingback.
This same pattern was repeated last week with Ayinde starting and Ngozi coming from the bench.
Both ladies were involved in recent assignments for the Super Falcons’ in the last FIFA friendly window.
Under Dennerby, neither player has found the back of the net for Nigeria.
Barring a dramatic to loss of form, both highly experienced Swedish-based professionals will be expected to be named in the Super Falcons squad to the World Cup in June.
