Ebuehi returns to Super Eagles

Fantastic full back Tyronne Ebuehi has being handed a late-call up to the Nigeria squad to face Brazil in Singapore reports Afrofooty.

Holland-born Ebuehi, 23, who had to pull out of Nigeria's last fixture due to injury, is now back playing for his club albeit for the reserves.

Ebuehi last featured for Nigeria at the 2018 FIFA World Cup group stages, causing a penalty against Iceland which went unpunished.

"Ebuehi has been called up as a late replacement for the injured Kenneth Omeruo," Super Eagles spokesman Toyin Ibitoye was quoted as saying on BBC.

"He's back to club action in the reserves and we hope this will be the start of an uninterrupted run for Tyronne." He concluded.

Nigeria will be meeting Brazil on 13 October in Singapore, for the second time at senior level following a 3-0 defeat in a friendly in June 2003 in Abuja.

Despite taking his time before making a commitment, Ebuehi made his debut against Togo in June 2017.

On the late inclusion of Ebuehi, a Super Eagles fan said on Social Media: "Good replacement...I hope he gets playing time!"
