Ahmed - watch this space - Musa: Guess Who's BACK!

Less than one week after re-joining the club he calls "home” on loan, Ahmed - the speeding bullet - Musa took less than one hour to smash the back of the net for CSKA Moscow this week. Having wasted no time to stroll straight into the first team of the multiple (Russian) premier league and former Europa league champions, Musa was lethal in putting CSKA ahead in the 33rd minutes of their friendly match against Norwegian side Nordsjaelland.

His effort was worth its weight in gold; coolly taken like to superstar player that he truly is. The Super Eagles Speedster lasted the entire duration of the match.

Mikkel Damsgaard levelled scores for FC Nordsjaelland 10 minutes later as the match ultimately ended 1:1.

Musa left CSKA Moscow in the summer of 2016 for Leicester but has had very little playing time in his second season in England. With the shock sacking of English Premier League winning Italian coach, Claudio Raniery giving birth to the demise of Musa in the one hit wonder club.

Gone appears now to be the days when a club coach will call him ‘a quality player’ but only good enough to feature in the team’s under-23 squad – what nonsense!

CSKA Moscow will face Spanish side Elche in their next friendly on Tuesday with Musa yet again expected to play a big part.

The Russian outfit are fifth of in their Premier League table with 35 points from 20 games.

Musa, whose skills are undeniable, will be hoping to fire the team to glory both domestically and in Europe as he sets his sights also on stunning Argentina in the world cup as he did 4 years ago.
